Welcome to Kincardine Castle and Kincardine Estate

One of Scotland's finest Victorian Castles, Kincardine sits in 3,000 acres of beautiful country estate overlooking the spectacular scenery in the heart of Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire.  It is just 25 miles (under 40 minutes) from both Aberdeen city centre and airport.

Kincardine Castle

KIncardine Castle is a magnificent exclusive-use location for hospitality, weddings, business meetings and house parties.  Minimum group size is 6 people. Now a much greener destination since the start-up of our biomass heating system in January 2012.

This is also the Laird's family home and guests enjoy the personal hospitality of Andrew and Nicola Bradford who, through their great enjoyment of their beautiful home give you a unique insight into this magical world. While operating as a commercial enterprise our emphasis is in doing what we can to maintain the atmosphere of a private family home. This is for those who've done hotels and want to get to the next level.

Disabled? We can cater for those in wheel-chairs, with assistance. See note on House & Gardens page.

Kincardine Estate

Kincardine Estate is a traditional country estate carrying out a wide range of activities besides farming, forestry, fishing and shooting. We also provide rented housing (much of it at affordable rents), shop, office and workshop premises. A quarry, operated by Aberdeenshire Council, provides most of the stone for roads in mid and western Deeside and beyond. As you'll have gathered from this short paragraph our estate enterprises are varied and more details on all these can be found on these pages.

Kincardine Kitchen

Kincardine Kitchen makes and supplies delicious home-bakes, jams and preserves to local shops and the products are available by mail order.

Whatever your reason for visiting us we extend you a warm Scottish welcome and look forward to meeting you in person,

Warmest regards,

Andrew and Nicola Bradford
