Kincardine Castle was made for entertaining, usually combined with some sport. These days you don’t have to kill things to have a good country sporting weekend, nor does it have to happen at a weekend.
Kincardine Castle remains an amazing place to experience all the finest Scottish countryside has to offer, combined with sumptuous accommodation. We will work with you to devise a programme to suit your needs, ensuring everyone in the party has a great time.
We can combine activities which are available locally, with walking or riding. If you are keen walkers we can arrange for you to walk to your destination (for a real treat let us provide a picnic to fuel even the most energetic of walkers). If you’ve walked around Loch Muick at Balmoral Estate, for example, there is little to beat the feeling of satisfaction to relax in front of the fire in Kincardine’s Great Hall and have an excellent afternoon tea with our delicious home-bakes as provided by Kincardine Kitchen. Follow that with a soak in a bath and you really feel you’ve earned that first wee drink.
Of course we have an excellent heated-locker room so your outdoor clothes are nicely dried out for the morrow.
The combination of activities and the homely luxury of Kincardine is unbeatable and develops the best of friendships. A Sporting Weekend is something that can suit either the private or corporate visitor. For more information on corporate activities, please see our Team Building page. For the range of occupations available to compile into a sporting weekend see our page on Activities.

Some kind words from our previous guests…
“Thank you so much Andrew & Nicky for making our daughter’s wedding the most amazing fairytale wedding any bride could hope for. Thank you for taking so much off Doreen’s and my hands given that we had to arrange a wedding with 2 weeks notice given Doreen’s health. Everything was just perfect and we shall never be able to thank you enough.”
