About Us

Andrew Bradford

Andrew Bradford graduated with a BSc from the University of Aberdeen. He has farmed at Kincardine Estate since 1976 and in 1979 he took over the day-to-day management of the whole estate, a varied job which today comprises the management of 70 houses, some shops, offices and workshops, a quarry, 1,500 acres of forestry, farming, tenant farming, salmon fishing, game shooting, gardening and the estate maintenance and hospitality businesses.

He has also for over 30 years represented the interests of rural private rented housing across Scotland at national level.

His interests are many – in no particular order they include: his family, fishing, shooting, architecture, family history, singing, music, gardening, winter sports, tennis, deer stalking, food and wine, gardening, photography, the environment and green energy and conversation.

Andrew has one published book to his name – on his father’s dramatic war-time escape which took him nearly 5,000 miles across France to Spain and North Africa. He has self-published a number of other works connected with family history or the estate.

He is also a Eucharistic Minister of the Scottish Episcopal Church in Kincardine O’Neil and Honorary Colonel of Aberdeen Universities Officer Training Corps.

She has also been involved with the North East of Scotland Music School and a number of other good causes.

She is a Deputy Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire.
