KINCARDINE - MEETING FACILITIES What a wonderful place for meeting, a homely environment rather than yet another nice hotel. Superb. Having spent literally thousands of hours in meetings ourselves we are well acquainted with what makes a bad meeting room and how that affects the meeting itself. Too often we have found ourselves in meeting rooms that are dingy and dark or even with no natural daylight at all. At Kincardine we are keen to avoid this. We know how much more productive people are when they’re in good surroundings and a friendly and homely atmosphere. What a place – it felt just like home too throughout the 3 day meeting. |

The Drawing Room The Drawing Room makes an excellent meeting room. It is quiet and the 16 ft. high ceiling stops it becoming stuffy. With two large French windows to the North-West and three large windows to the South-West and a further French window to the South-East this room is flooded with natural light. A separate side table is provided for refreshments and can be quietly replenished during the day as necessary. The Drawing Room can be set up for informal, boardroom or theatre layouts. The Board Room Our new Board Room started in operation in the autumn of 2008. It is a fine, light and airy room with a 10 ft. high ceiling and five large windows which look out onto the lawns and gardens. Easily accessible this room is on the ground floor and we shall soon raise the ground level to eliminate steps into this part of the castle. Equipment Supplied We provide the usual meeting materials, flip charts etc. Projection is onto the wall which makes a fine screen. Please note that we don’t have a data projector in-house as most of our clients like to bring their own. We can hire a projector if required. Capacities and Layouts: Boardroom: up to 18 Cabaret: up to 30 Theatre: up to 36
Services Provided We can provide teas & coffee – usually on a self-service basis. We can also provide bacon rolls to start your day. For lunch we generally find that soup, filled rolls, cheeseboard and fruit bowl fit the bill as this allows for that little bit of flexibility that can sometimes creep into the timing of meetings.
Accommodation and Dinners We can also provide overnight accommodation for your delegates. Please see House Party page on this website or ask for details.

The Great Hall For larger groups our Great Hall can be set up for theatre style meetings or for meetings around a number of small tables. Again, the room is light and airy and a pleasant place in which to meet. We have seated as many as 80 here in theatre style layout. Thank you for looking after us so well. I knew it would be special but you exceeded my wildest expectations and from my colleagues who tend to "get about a bit" - you clearly exceeded theirs too. It really did feel like home but within which we had the ability to have a continuous meeting, uninterrupted and supported with everything that we needed. It’s like staying with family. I can’t imagine a better venue for our meetings. A truly relaxing location for our meeting – it is not often I wish that meetings would last longer! We shall never forget the extraordinary warmth of your welcome at Kincardine. You two are wonderful hosts and you spoilt us rotten. You have a very special house, and you have the great gift of being able to share it with people you’ve never met before, treat them as friends and make them feel completely at home. |
