Our kitchens are probably producing the finest food in Aberdeenshire. We provide first rate food for the various hospitality events that take place here and we also make a selection of delicious, some would say dangerously addictive, products which are sold in local food outlets.
Rupert and Louisa joined us full-time in October 2017 having worked intermittently for us over the preceding couple of years.
First the Love Story:
Rupert was Chef-de-Partie in two separate Michelin-starred restaurants, The Glasshouse and La Trompette, before moving to teaching cookery at Leiths School of Food and Wine.
Louisa who has cooked at Kincardine Castle since she was a child was Head Pastry Chef for Theo Randall at his London restaurant before she too moved to teaching cookery at Leiths School of Food and Wine.
The rest, is history.
We are confident that today our kitchens produce what is arguably the finest cuisine in Aberdeenshire.
After many years working at some of the country’s most prestigious restaurants and top cookery schools, Louisa and Rupert moved to Royal Deeside in 2015. Since then they have cooked at many of the big houses across Scotland and relished working with the amazing ingredients that are abundant up here, particularly the wild mushrooms, amazingly fresh fish and shellfish and huge variety of game.
With their extensive culinary background they are versatile chefs and happy to cook anything you desire. Whatever your dietary requirements and gastronomic predelictions, they will work with you to create perfect menus for any occasions.
